Define 'Happiness'!

People always says that happiness depends on how we see it.
Yeah, they may right. We can look for faults from our surrounding and find them. So do with good things. If we look for them, we'll find them. Yeah, our world is what we make it.

One of the best book I ever read about happiness was 'Follow Your Heart' by Andrew Matthews. Have you read that book? Oh, it's so inspiring. I highly recommend it for those we are looking for something meaningful in their lives.

Check out these cartoons ..

"They're not happy. They just think they're happy..''

or this one..
Yeah, you got it. Sometime we consider that happiness is something bigger than ourselves, something more important than we've already get, or something 'too high to reach' for most of us, so we have to do something, reach something, own something or pursue something in order to get it.

In fact, deep down in our hearts we know that it's not the big deal. Happiness isn't something we can get by having certain condition, being happy is a situation we can make it - depends on how we choose to see our life..

(oh, please, I won't tell you a lot about happiness. You've read my last posts and knew how was my condition -lol- but I want to share with all of you how a great idea can change our mind. And by changing our mind, we can change our world. Ever consider that?)

People who call themselves “lucky” smile more, talk to more people, make more friends and persist more often – which proves its not luck
-Andrew Matthews-

Yeah, and from now on, I'll choose to be happy.. :)
God bless us, everyone!

Becoming The Happiest Person in The World

On a blog I read few days ago, I found a wonderful statement in About Me page that says that 'I am the happiest person on this planet'. Oh my... Can you imagine it? Or, have you ever dare mentioned yourself as the happiest person like the statement above?

We look forward to be happy. Even, we would move heaven and earth to pursuing the happiness. And we search for it all around the world. We search everywhere. We think we would be happy if we have much money, or if we are popular, or if we have many friends. We do have our own standard for it. But one thing we use to forget, that our happiness don't come from anything outside. We could just be happy if we have satisfied of anything we have. The most important isn't the things we want but the things we already have.

People look at what we have and supposed that we are happy, but in return, we, like to look at everything we don't have already and supposed that we are unhappy. Oh, so ironic, isn't it?

I think happiness would be ours if ...

We content our selves with what we have

We have a big faith in God

We do believe that for everything, there would be a perfect timing

We constantly give thanks for such a little things in life

We don't take our selves as the reason for everything happens on the earth

We don't compare our lives with others'

We know what's the most important in life and make a clear priority of it

We know the deepest need of ours and try to fulfill it little by little

We grow a good relationship with God

We have a big love within our hearts

We decide to follow Him in every step of our lives, learn to understand His perfect will and live in it no matter how hard the cross we have to bear

We believe that we'll get reward from Him so we choose to do the right thing

Well, it's my list. Can you add yours?

So, how happy are you?

Blessings,

CHASING HAPPINESS

Have you ever chased happiness? How does it feel? What is actually you're chasing for? What's the right definition for happiness actually for you?

Should we be happy if we got the job we want? Or if we just got the spouse we've dreamt for years? Or had a new car? Or got the chance for vacation around the world freely? Or living such a 'happily ever after' life with our family like common people? What?

I haven't found it yet. The true definition of happiness, I mean. We have no true standard for it yet. For moment at least. We just flow with what such do really matter in our society. We'll be following whatever those would be: Goldliving lifestyle, expensive car, big house, good buy, great outlook, whatever. But, do those stuff really define who we truly are?

Have no idea..

Sometimes I do feel happy, like having no burden to bear, or problems to think about. But yeah, sometimes I feel bad also. I couldn't predict what is waiting for me next. Couldn't understand what's the source of my problems, why did they come to me, sort of . Eventually I just saw the darkness covered my life. There's no light at all. No destination. No hope. No dreams. No passion. No desire. What's my life supposed to be then?

Meanwhile, everybody do demand on me, put so much responsibilities on me, feel like everybody's staring at me and say 'It's your duty. You can't run from that away. You have to be here and handle all of that stuff for us!'

The question is, why should I? Isn't there another people could do it for me? Take the burdens out of me and just –oh, please- enlighten my life. Please?

Is there anybody out there?

Have no definition, even have no understanding what happiness is really about. Especially for my life myself. Nothing.

So, what should I run for then? Just fleeing myself (from what? Reality?) or do such a pursuing of something I could call happiness?

Had I ever been being happy? Not really sure. Perhaps, in the past. A little. But, if I had, why do I couldn't remember how did the way I feel happy anyway?

Yeah, it really doesn't look like me, do I?

That's fine. I just want to outpour my remarks and my feelings all of my mind.

I think writing is always been better than just murmuring, isn't it?

It'd be relieving our pain afterwards. Trust me.

So, I'm going to keep writing, don't care whether I've chased happiness or not. Cause I believe, whether or not, I should...
