FINDING YOURSELF

The first of all, before we could expect the best for our life, reach our best potential or do something really important for our life, we have to find ourselves first. Many people, because of lack of knowledge about themselves, couldn't do anything with their life. So sad.. Like Socrates ever wrote 'Know thyself, and the truth will set you free'.

Sometimes we feel distress. Just having no idea what should we do in life, what kind of people we want to become, or something like that. Why do we feel nothing? Because we have no idea about ourselves. We don't know our truly self well.

So, how to find ourselves then?

• Experts say that the best way to find ourselves is by writing journal. Just write, don't be too much of thinking. Just write down whatever comes out from your mind. Don't edit it, because deep inside, we have a moral censor that could mess up our thought. It would be messing up about what we should be with what we are. And it do make differences in our judgement about ourselves. It would fade away our truly vision! So, keep writing..
  

• Besides, we ought to know our strengths and weaknesses. Build our strengths first and don't sweat our weaknesses too much. Find out what we could do and what we like to do. Our talents are God's gift. He wants us to use those gift as well.

• Release our pasts. Many bitterness, griefs, or bad experiences keep hauling us, chasing us and won't to release their grip on us. But, take a vow of kindness for yourself! Be the best of you, whoever you are. The pasts have no right at all to destruct your life!

• Probably, the most important is honesty. Be honest to ourselves. Don't pretend to be someone or anyone we admire, we'll never be like one of them. God had created and designed us with uniqueness. He even has His dreams on us! But the problem is, we could never know His plan for our life without being close to Him. Although His designs are perfect for us, we'd never know it without having a good relationship with Him.

Probably these days are the toughest days in our life, but keep praying. Let's find out what God really wants in our life, and make our dreams be happening by walking with The Master of The Universe. Straight ahead in your journey. Let's find out how this story gonna be end. (And we know that the end does really depend on us!). Remember that something is not over until it's over. In the midst of our journey, perhaps we're not seeing the light yet. But don't be desperate. Keep walking. Our life is really worth to fight for, because it's so precious. So, don't stop here!
