ARE YOU STUCK PROVING YOUR WORTH THAT YOU MISS OUT LIVING YOUR POSSIBILITIES?

We all know that deep inside us, we have a need to be loved and to be accepted just the way we are. But so often, we get stumbled on people's attitude that treat us badly. So, the words 'You're not good enough', or 'You're not lovable enough', and many inferior feelings always there haunting our lives. When I read this article, it got me thinking that definitely, I'm not the only person in the world who feel that way. I'm not alone. Many people out there are suffering the same pain with me due to this 'worth' thing. So, in case you're like me, ever feel this way, this article may be helpful..

The vast majority of us, since childhood, have been trying desperately to prove our worth. We try to prove our worth to our parents, teachers, friends and lovers. We become so absorbed in meeting their standards that we missed out finding our own potential.

To focus our life in proving ourselves to others is not only a loosing battle but a waste of time.

The downside of proving your worth to others is that different people has different standards of what being “worthy” means. To be obsessed in proving our worth to another person is to give that person control in your life. Now think how many persons are you trying to prove your worth?

Ten?

That mean 10 people are somehow stirring your life in 10 different directions.

Feeling dizzy?

If we give more time meeting other’s standards, we may sacrifice finding our own identity.

God did not create us to prove ourselves to others, but to live life to the full. Jesus Himself said: “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” And we shall find life’s fullness in discovering and living out our vocation. Our vocation is God’s will, calling and plan for our lives.

“Jesus said to them, "My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me and to accomplish His work.” -John 4:34

To discover and realize God’s plans for our lives is to open ourselves to unlimited possibilities that we have not even come to imagine. Living out our vocation is to let the seed of greatness that God planted in us grow. And like a small mustard seed, it shall grow into a great tree.

The road to greatness is the path of discovering our God given gifts and living out our vocation. We should stop trying to meet other people’s standards and start living in His.

In every one of us lies a great potential.

You do not need to prove it.

It is there.

What you need to do is live it.

…unlimited possibilities awaits.

Don't Be Asleep

He took Peter, James and John along with him, and he began to be deeply distressed and troubled. "My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death," he said to them. "Stay here and keep watch." (NIV) Mark 14:33-34

Christ asked Peter, James and John to stay and watch and pray, while he faced the full impact of His coming crucifixion. Christ, who was without sin, was about to take on the sin of the world. In His mental anguish, He looked to His Father, God for strength. And He entreated His friends three times to watch and pray. . . and three times they failed and fell asleep.

What would you do if your friend spoke these words to you? Would you run to their side? Would you stay awake, keep watch and pray for them? Would you be desperate to help comfort them, ease their sorrow, carry their burden? Of course you would; you would never be caught sleeping, or would you?

Every day, people cry out to us for help. Their souls are overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death. The problem is, they rarely call out verbally, as directly, as Christ did, and they rarely give us three chances to help. More often than not, you have to look closely, check for subtle symptoms of a broken heart. They may look tired and complain of a poor sleep habits. They may be "too busy" to spend time with you. They may turn to false comforts like drugs, alcohol or even sex. Sometimes, they may cover their sadness with false bravado. Often, they lash out in anger pushing you away when all they want to do is cry out like Christ did.

Ask God to show you who is crying out to you for help today. Have Him show you the signs of those who are in anguish. Reach out to them, pray for them, be there for them. Don't be asleep!

This is such an inspiring devotional I received from Anchor Your life this morning.

But, the question is, what if we apparently are the ones who feel the sorrow like what Jesus felt? What we're gonna do?

Easy vs Hard

Why is it so hard to tell the truth
but yet so easy to tell a lie?

Why are we so sleepy in church
but right when the sermon is over we suddenly wake up?
Why is it so hard to talk about God

but yet so easy to talk about nasty
stuff?
Why is it so boring to look at a Christian magazine,
but yet so easy to look at a nasty one?
Why is it so easy to delete a Godly e- mail,
but yet we forward all of the nasty ones?
Why are the churches getting smaller
but yet the bars and dance clubs are getting larger?
Do you give up?
Think about it.

Just remember-God is watching you.
Prayer Wheel- Let's see the devil stop this one!
Here's what the wheel is all about.
Prayer is the very best one....
There are no costs, but wonderful rewards...

GOD Bless!

It Wouldn't Be Easy, But It Would Be Worth It..

Photobucket

In many ways, we ask about God's presence in our lives. When we struggle with our diseases, stresses, hard times, even when we meet some difficult people. We'll start to ask about Him. Where's God in this circumstance? How come He let us go through all of these problems? What's His purpose? Why me? When will this be over? And other million questions ...

Often, we do incline to blame. Yes, it's our very basic nature, started from the first man, Adam when he was being asked by God about how he ate the fruit He forbade to. Adam blamed it on Eve, who then blamed her sin to the snake. When situation gets harder, it's so easy to blame. On other people, on the circumstances, on the pasts, on one's attitude, on many other things we could ever remember!

We think that God isn't there. He doesn't see. He doesn't know. He doesn't care. He's still busy up there thinking about the universe, not us. So we loose our faiths in Him. We forget about His promises, His blessings, His kindness and all of His mercies we've ever received.

We often forget that He doesn't say that life would be easy, but it would be worth it. Every hurts we ever feel, every hard times, every tears, every cries before Him, every prayer, every griefs, every weakness we have, every single day with every worry in our lives counts by Him. He sees beyond our deepest needs. He feels what we feel. He thinks what we think. He even prays for us. And He lets us go through all the darkness because He wants us to reach something. Remember the quote 'No pain, no gain'? Every hard times we encounter would be worth it. To shape us, mold us to become more precious and wonderful in His sight..

Don't ever give up your life. Bad times may ever come. Turbulence, sorrows, temptations may hit you, but nothing could destroy yourself unless you let it destroy you.

Just remember that everything on the earth has it's price tag. If you can't bear your burden for any longer, strengthen yourself by remembering that possibly you are paying the price on your road toward your dreams...

Who says that life is easy? :)

Ten Purposes of Life

Well, I found this from LightisReal.com.
And I feel it'd be useful for anyone who keep asking the same question with me, 'What's the purpose of our life?'

Here they are...

The Purpose of Life is to :

1. Share Your Love. Truly pursue this purpose in life with passion, and
all the others will follow naturally! Love everyone, and start with those
closest to you.

2. Give to Others. You can make a difference in the world! Choose to
serve and give in small ways right now. One purpose of life is to serve
others.

3. Increase in Light. Your spirit and body can actually hold light.
Learn to flow with light, bringing it into your life and letting it flow out
to others. Increase your light bearing capacity by following the truth
you know.

4. Learn Wisdom. Pursue wisdom not as your final purpose, but for the
love of Wisdom and also to better serve others with increased talents.

Read the best books and learn all you can. Truth is eternal, and you can
take it with you!

5. Accept Yourself. Love who you are. Your birth, body, parents,
strengths, weaknesses and nationality all have a purpose. Accept your
purpose and your talents. Feel your emotions and allow them to flow.

6. Enjoy the Mystery. Wonder at the beauty and richness of life,
without trying to figure it all out. See the world in childlike simplicity
and joy.

7. Create Your Reality. In this sphere, you choose with your thoughts
what to create. Be bold in life, and decide what you really want. Move
toward all your dreams with a powerful vision! You can learn to
consciously create your life.

8. Follow the Spirit. Trust your inner voice that leads you and prompts
you into the higher paths. Learning to follow this Holy Spirit is one of
the purposes of life. As you listen to the spirit, you will achieve
greater inspiration for all your daily activities.

9. Revel in the Present. Find joy, focus, and engagement in every
present activity. Your point of personal power is the present moment.
You can only act in the present. As you live in the now, you conquer the
illusion of time and begin to live in Holographic Time.

10. Experience Joy. The ultimate purpose of this life is joy and
happiness. We maximize our joy by pursuing it indirectly. Simply
pursue the first nine purposes of life and the tenth (Joy) will flow
magnetically to you!

IF

If the cheerfulness of childhood has gone

If the glorious of youth has broken

And if the spirit of boldness has been vanished away

Only you and your situation remain

What would you do?

If the people surround you

Who've always been supporting for years be gone

If your situation seems to be worse

If you have nothing to do anymore

Only your soul remain

What would you do?

If there's nobody out there

If there wouldn't be any help

If there's no spirit even more

Only you and you alone left

What would you do?

If the spirit crashes

If your heart be broken

If your vision has to be faded away

Everything seems to be blurred.

Dark. Empty. Zero. Nothing.

What would you do?

What should you do?

what is life supposed to be

That was not our will to be born. Was not our will also to be exist on this earth. But, our life is supposed to be something. How come? I don't understand. Sometimes I do walk and walk and walk, but have just found anything about the meaning of my life. My vision was faded. Blur. Almost dark. Like being in a dark night with no moon and the stars in the sky above. There's no sign. No warning. No description that could explain us to be such a something, or any clue that point to where would our journey has to head for. No, nothing at all.
Yeah, one say, just wait for The Lord's will; but how it supposed to? Do the world has too many signs to be watched for, don't it?
Many things have made me confused along this way. Can't think anymore. My mind is messy. Chaos. Have nothing inside.
Well, back to the question, what is our life supposed to be? Can't you please answer my question? How could we then becoming a pattern for one without nobody to give us some? No, I can't stand that way. I can't. I'm unable. I'm so weak. Even have no power to think at all. I'm out of my mind. Can't control what would to act, what should my behavior to becoming, Even, I would haven't known who I used to be eventually.
Oh my goodness.. I'm devastating. Desperate. Distress.
Lord, in my circumstance, please, do incline Your ear upon my prayer. I beg to You. Don't throw me away. I'm scared. I'm just afraid to be so far from You but also too embarrassed to be closer.
I'm a sinner.
I'm none.
Empty.
Oh, I don't know what to do, Lord.
Can hardly wait to know what's my life supposed to be...
