Hope that y'all have a blessed weekend!

Actually I planned not to post this meme. My life has been complicated these few past days so it's a bit uneasy for me to count my blessings. But then I realized, yeah, life must go on. We can't just sit there remembering the pain and bitterness, cause we'll left so far behind then. Life will always go, leaving all of those who don't want to walk with it.
Couple days ago, my publisher sent me a sample of my book that will be published. Well, at first, I thought that it was just an ordinary book so I didn't have to check it out immediately, moreover I had soooo many things to do. But you know, when I opened the email and looked at the book sample on my laptop, OMG... I was speechless. It was more beautiful than what I could ever imagined. Honestly. I supposed that I have a good feel and good taste in judging something. And I always have reasons to criticize many things I encounter in my life. But that time, I had no words to say at all!
Well, this book has been my prayer for a long, long time. And God has answered me. Ones may consider a published book as an achievement or kind of, but I don't. I prefer to believe that it's a perfect gift from above, and cometh down from The Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning (James 1:17).
This book will always be an evidence of God's mighty work in my life. Cause I know myself well enough. Who am I? Where I came from? Nobody knows. It isn't too important so ones must know it, till God brings me His miraculous wonderful works. He grants me the talent to contemplate about many things, and to write it down as a result of my loneliness. I'm an introvert so you can imagine what type of person I am. A loner, so you can count my friends with your fingers because I do have not much. There are times in life that I regret many things when I looked aback, but now, when I figure out what has happened, I understand that God has done everything to form and shape my life. While I'm still in His process, may I have to pass through the bads, the bitterness, the pains, the grieves or any other not-so-good thing, but now I start to see His perfect ways.
I have no idea about what awaits me next, but I believe He'll never leave me or forsake me. He guarantees my life. Even before time began, my life was in His hands. So I supposed that He'll accomplish His great works in me. I just want to become what God created me to be. My life is not about me anymore, but I am about to live out God's purpose in me. I know it's far greater than my own fulfillment, my career, or even my happiness. I was once distracted out from His way. I knew that I wasn't about to do His will, but I kept pushing on it. Afterward, after experiencing life without God's guide, I eventually knew that it was a great mistake. I was really sorry but I couldn't return anymore.. So that's why I realized indeed the importance of the continuous walk with God.
If you supposed that you have no certain purpose to live out, why don't you ask your Creator? As what Rick Warren says in his book Purpose Driven Life, you didn't create yourself, so there is no way you can tell yourself what you were created for. All you have to do is, begin anything with God, cause it all starts with Him. For in Him we live, and move, and have our being (Acts 17:28).
Don't forget to count your blessings!
Happy Sunday, everyone..
Being rich, famous and powerful too often has become a big dream for some people. They pursuit that dream through any kind of ways. Sometime in good ways, sometime in bad ones.
In Mr. Deeds, Adam Sandlers –as Mr. Deeds- says that he doesn’t want to be rich, famous or powerful. He just wants to be a man to whom anyone in trouble can come over to seek helps.
I like to watch movies, especially movies which are inspiring. Honestly, I’ve been seeking for a pattern in my life. Thank to either anyone or anything that has brought me good affections. This is such a cold, cold world. I need a guide, I need a direction but rarely find it from my surrounding. But I thank God for the technology: internet, movies, books, any kind of modern technology could ever taught me about good things.
From certain personal blogs I learn about difficulties in life and how they handle it. Yeah, it’s undeniable that from movies or books we can find inspiration to do something good in our lives. But, I think it’s a little bit diminish our role in socializing with other people. Yeah, I admitt that it’s easier to blame other people than to raise up and make a change. We like to wait. Wait for changes other people do. Wait for a deed other people do. Wait and wait and wait for other people without wanting to take a move for ourselves. Ough, is this a life we want to live in?
From some inspiring movies, certain personal blogs, great books I learn to make a change in my life. Maybe it’s not a big change, but I believe if I do that little by little, step by step, I’ll arrive at the place I want to be. I don’t want to wait for anybody’s move anymore. I just believe if God wants to, He can make me rich, powerful and famous someday. But, it’s just a thing. It’s not a big deal. Just want to seek first The Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto me.
I’ll do the best and God’ll do the rest.
Thank God for this wonderful life...
PS: I was attending Christian Blogger Festival last week, so had no enough time to post this. Please forgive me... :).
Don't forget to blog your blessing, everyone!
There were times in my life I felt desperate walking with Jesus. I thought as if I was the only one who keep up the biblical lifestyle. So, the complains, the murmuring, the dissapointment to be a true Christian had begun. I started to look at anybody around me and demand perfection. And when I found there were none there, I shut down myself and felt paralyze. Paralyzed in my spirituality, in my way of thinking, in my faith, in my ministry, paralyzed in many aspects of my life.
Yeah, probably we are the ones to be the pattern we look for. Instead of seeking for any good pattern, perhaps becoming ones are the best way to keep up good work in this cold, cold world..
I just am thankful for meeting some people who willingly want to give up their life to Jesus, walk with Him and trust their life in Him. They’re such a good inspiration to be followed! With all the time they have, they use it effectifely for God’s sake. They serve The Lord with all their life they can be. I’m so proud to witness that sort of people. I was inspired and intended to follow their steps.
We often forget that the world is looking at us and hoping for something we suppose to give to them. We think that we can use our lives as fun as possible, according to our desire. We forget that we do have obligations to bring out the kingdom of heaven and manifest God’s glory wherever we are. We often get dissapointed when we demand other people’s lives to be good, holy and pleasant while we ourselves get tired to live out that way.
Meeting any inspiring people are such an aha moment for me. From them I can learn to develop my life. Like what I’ve ever told you, I want to improve myself, change my bad habits, follow Jesus with all my life, and no matter what it may takes, I’ll give up my life to Him. I know that He has prepared all the best plan for me, He provides every things I need, and He is powerful to bless me, guide me and walk with me all the time.
Thank you, people. Either those who reveals their faith through their blogs or those who live out the best way of life, I owe million of thank yous for all of you. May God bless you with all the best blessings. Keep up the faith and all the good works, friends. Keep being God’s blessing for anyone around you, cause you never know whom you meet ahead of you..
Don't forget to blog your blessings..
Happy Sunday!
My dearly beloved husband bought me a brand new laptop last Saturday. Oh, that's such a blessing for me!
I supposed I've thanked him around hundred thousand times for that. He knows how I yearned to have my own laptop and he made it happen for me! And, the wonderful one is the reason behind it. He told me that he just wanted to make me happy. Oh, that's so lovely.. how I thank God for giving me him as my hubby...
For a certain moment, big idea came across my mind. I was just compared him with my God, and suddenly, I got my aha moment!
To be frank, from my dad I learned many things about God. And it was such something not too good. My father was very emotional, impatient, rude, hard to satisfied, and such a type that uneasy to understood. I didn't have a close relationship with him. (Now I'm really sorry for that!).
I believe it wasn't by accident, his personality showed me how The Lord was in my sight (at least, I used to suppose that if that was my dad's personality, so it might be God's personality also!). I supposed He was hard to pleased, He was rude also, oh, and He was.. any bad character my dad had within himself! So, when somebody told me that God is love, I couldn't take it for granted. I couldn't take this fact as something real in my life. I couldn't take it as a real personality of God. Cause as long as my dad lived, I knew about bad things rather than good things through his life.
But, as I married my hubby, my point of view has changed. I see another side of God I haven't known before through him. My hubby showed me much about love, about passion, patience, understanding, meekness, faithfulness and .. how to smile. He got me back my smile and I love him so much for that. From him, I learn about goodness and don't know why, my way of thinking about God was changed day by day..
Maybe I'm not perfect yet in my knowing about God, but I thank Him for opening up my eyes to see Him more clearly. I thank Him for showing up Himself through somebody I love most. I know that nothing happens accidentally in Him. He manages every single thing in every single day in my life. He takes the lead, and He'll do anything He wants in His way.
I'm just grateful to have Him as my Lord God Almighty. Cause whenever I've no power to get closer to Him, He'll take the initiative and He'll do the toil no matter what it may takes to get me back to Him.
He's my wonderful savior.
And my husband is a wonderful pattern to know Him.
Thank you both for never give up loving me..
